Wise Words

Wear the world like a loose garment.

“Wear the world like a loose garment, which touches us in a few places, and there lightly.”

St. Francis of Assissi

We make workwear for dreamers, loungewear for doers, and anytime-wear for those enchanted by joy and beauty, and are unafraid to live by their own rules. Inspired by the rich beauty and tradition of heritage textiles that have connected people for centuries, our designs are made to live in whether you are at work, play, or anywhere in between.

So, welcome to your new favorite garment. We aspire for you to put on a Luz design and feel connected with your inner spirit and empowered to take on the world, day after day, season after season—no matter what comes your way.

Our values

We strive to bring more joy, beauty, and relaxation to a complex, ever-changing world. Our guiding principles of respect, connection, and kindness show in our commitment to ethical working conditions, our use of organic and sustainable materials, and our thoughtfully detailed, luxuriously comfortable designs. We hope our pieces inspire you to be in the moment and feel like your best self inside and out wherever life takes you.

Thoughtful Details

We pride ourselves on quality, care, and intention. Our pajama sets are beautifully cut to flatter a variety of shapes and sizes, with subtle, elegant touches that improve their fit and functionality. Double-sewn sleeves and pant legs provide the option to create a cuff, a bit of elastic along the back of our drawstring bottoms ensure they stay in place, and our tops are cut longer in the back to keep you covered any way you move.

Upcycled Fabrics

Upcycled Fabrics

We incorporate hand-picked bits of exquisite vintage fabric into our designs, honoring centuries of textile traditions and craftsmanship, while threading the needle between past and present. With touches of beautiful sari-silk along the collar and in the lining of the matching bag, no two sets of our pajama sets are exactly alike.

Each Luz Garment comes in a fabric pouch that matches the pattern of the garment and fastens with a magnetic closure clasp. Use it to store and protect your pajama sets during travel, or alternately as a makeup or clutch bag.
